Ice cubes have come to be commonly used for their numerous beauty benefits, like reduced puffiness, rejuvenating skin, and giving a natural glow. However, they are not for everyone. Dr Aanchal Panth, a popular dermatologist, debunked some of the myths attached to their usage and shared her views on how and when to use ice cubes, especially those fused with a variety of ingredients.

But first, here are some of the benefits associated with ‘skin icing’ or ‘cold therapy’:

Reduces Inflammation: Considered therapeutic when used for controlling inflammation or swelling on any area of the body, especially under the eyes.

Has a Tightening Effect: Not only shrinks the pores, but also gives the temporary effect of tightening the muscles.
