Do I need to complete SIP Activation/Biller registration to start a SIP?


Yes, SIP Activation is mandatory to start a SIP. In case you fail to complete this process, your scheduled SIP transactions will get cancelled.
For your SIP investments, money has to be deducted from your account on a scheduled date and then the respective units of Mutual Funds are allocated into your account. Once you have completed the Biller registration, the SIP is directly debited from your account on the scheduled date.
