Shivam Khajuria, who portrays the character of Prem in the Rupali Ganguly-starrer 'Anupamaa', recently shared his thoughts on the tragic death of a crew member on the show's set.

A camera assistant, who was new to the job and originally from Bihar, tragically lost his life on the sets of 'Anupamaa'. Despite receiving immediate medical care and being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to injuries sustained in a short circuit. This heartbreaking incident has sent shockwaves through the Indian television industry, with the cast and crew of the show mourning the untimely loss of one of their own.

BN Tiwari, President of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, confirmed in a statement that the camera assistant, who was working on the set, tragically passed away after coming into contact with exposed wires due to a short circuit. He noted that the assistant was new to the set and not many people knew him, but assured that an investigation would be carried out and the family would be provided with compensation.

Regarding the incident, Shivam Khajuria spoke to Dainik Bhaskar, stating that the production house has not disclosed the name of the deceased crew member. He emphasized that if there was any negligence involved, it would not be tolerated. However, Rajan Shahi's Directors Kut Production has yet to release an official statement about the tragedy.
