After almost a decade, the romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam is making a return to theaters in India on February 7, 2025. The 2016 film, which starred Harshvardhan Rane and Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, originally didn’t do well at the box office. However, over the years, it has gained a loyal fanbase and achieved cult status. Now, its re-release is creating a lot of excitement, especially with strong advance bookings.

In the first 12 hours of its advance ticket sales, Sanam Teri Kasam has sold 20,000 tickets in major national theatre chains. This is a fantastic sign for the film, as it shows that fans are eager to watch the tragic love story on the big screen once again.

The film's strong word-of-mouth is expected to bring large audiences to theaters, unlike its original release. Experts predict that Sanam Teri Kasam will make an impressive opening of around Rs 2 crore on its first day, a big improvement from its original box office opening of just Rs 1 crore.

The movie, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, is set to compete with two other films releasing this week—Badass Ravi Kumar and Loveyapa—as well as the 2014 Hollywood hit Interstellar, which is also showing in Hindi markets.
