Actress Malavika Mohanan is gearing up for her upcoming action-thriller Sardar 2. The actress has also started filming the film with Tamil superstar Karthi and shared a glimpse from the shoot.
Malavika took to her Instagram Story and shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set. She has recently jetted off to Bangkok for the shooting revealed the same in her post.
She penned in the caption, “Hello Bangkok [a white heart emoji],” adding, “#Sardar2.”
The makers have recently created a buzz among the fans with the release of Sardar 2 Hindi prologue featuring intense action sequences between Karthi’s Sardar and his foe Black Dagger, played by SJ Suryah.
Directed by P.S. Mithran, the upcoming spy thriller promises to deliver next-level action and madness set in an entirely different world. The film is produced by S. Lakshman Kumar and Ishan Saksena, and co-produced by A. Venkatesh under the Prince Pictures and Ivy Entertainment banners.
Sardar 2 features an ensemble cast including Ashika Ranganath, Yogi Babu, and Rajisha Vijayan, among others. Sardar 2 will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada on May 30, 2025.

Besides Sardar 2, Malavika Mohanan has a series of exciting projects in her pipeline. The actress will also be seen in the upcoming Telugu film The Raja Saab with Prabha, which is speculated to be released on December 5. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt in the key role.
The actress will also star in the upcoming Malayalam language family drama, Hridayapoorvam, with Mohanlal. Directed by Sathyan Anthikad from a screenplay by Sonu T. P., the film is based on a story by Anthikad's son Akhil Sathyan
