Kritika Kamra has signed on to her next movie, a gripping women-centric drama directed by Anusha Rizvi, best known for her critically acclaimed film Peepli Live. Jio Studios is producing the film, which has a superb ensemble cast led by Sheeba Chaddha and Shreya Dhanwanthary.
Set against the vibrant surroundings of Delhi, the film dives into a touching human narrative about the courage and endurance of its female heroes. Principal filming began early this month in the capital and is scheduled to continue until mid-May.
A production studio insider stated, "We are happy to put together such a skilled crew for this project. The tale is both strong and contemporary, and we feel it will strike a deep chord with the audience. The project will begin filming in Delhi this week. The cast is now in the process of preparation sessions in Delhi."
This collaboration adds to Kritika Kamra's wide body of work, which already includes famous performances in Bheed, Bambai Meri Jaan, and Gyaarah Gyaarah. The film also marks Anusha Rizvi's return to feature filmmaking and promises a thought-provoking cinematic experience.
