BTS' Jungkook attends The First Ride's premiere holding a life-size doll of ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo: Watch

BTS star Jungkook made a rare public appearance on Monday at the VIP premiere of the upcoming film The First Ride in Seoul — and one adorable gesture from him has fans completely melting.

Though Jungkook often keeps his public outings private, this event was special, as it featured his close friend and fellow ’97 liner, Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO, who is currently serving in the military. To show his support, Jungkook playfully posed with a life-size doll of Eun Woo at the premiere, making everyone smile with his endearing act.

The Seven singer can be seen wearing all black, grinning broadly, carrying the Eun Woo doll with pride, and posing for photographers in the viral images and videos.

Fans went into a frenzy over Jungkook's playful charm when he even forced the doll to perform a military salute at one point.

After being accepted into the Republic of Korea Army's military band, Cha Eun Woo started his mandatory military service on July 28, 2025. The First Ride, a film directed by Nam Dae Jung and released on October 29, 2025, tells the story of a group of lifelong friends who finally travel abroad for the first time, resulting in a number of touching and funny moments.
