Drishyam 3: Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph reunite for the thrilling sequel

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has officially announced that Drishyam 3 is happening. He will once again collaborate with director Jeethu Joseph for the third installment of the popular thriller franchise. The first two movies, Drishyam and Drishyam 2, were massive hits and were remade in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and even Chinese.

The new movie will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor, who has been involved in the previous films as well. Mohanlal shared the exciting news on social media, posting a photo with Jeethu Joseph and Antony Perumbavoor. He captioned it, “The Past Never Stays Silent. Drishyam 3 Confirmed! #Drishyam3.” The post quickly went viral, with fans expressing their excitement for the next chapter in the gripping story.

The Drishyam series is a crime thriller that became a milestone in Malayalam cinema. It introduced a unique storytelling style that kept audiences on the edge of their seats. The first film followed the story of George Kutty, a simple man who goes to great lengths to protect his family after they get involved in an unexpected crime. The second part, Drishyam 2, took the story further, showing the consequences of his actions and how he continues to outsmart the police.

Eight years after the release of the first film, Drishyam 2 premiered on Prime Video and once again impressed viewers with its gripping plot and unexpected twists. The movie ended on a cliffhanger, leaving room for a third part.
