The Film Critics Guild and GroupM Motion Entertainment have unveiled the winners of the Critics' Choice Awards 2025, celebrating excellence in Indian cinema across feature films, short films, documentaries, and web series. Among the biggest winners of the night were All We Imagine As Light and Amar Singh Chamkila, starring Diljit Dosanjh.
Curated by a distinguished panel of film critics, the awards recognised outstanding achievements across multiple languages and platforms.
All We Imagine As Light took home the prestigious Best Feature Film award. Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh won Best Actor for his transformative performance in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila. The film, based on the life of Punjab’s legendary musician, has been widely acclaimed for its authenticity and emotional depth.
Darshana Rajendran was named Best Actress for her powerful performance in Paradise, while Ravi Kishan’s role in Laapataa Ladies earned him the Best Supporting Actor award. Kani Kusruti won Best Supporting Actress for her role in Girls Will Be Girls.
The digital entertainment space also saw fierce competition, with Poacher winning Best Web Series.
