Sreemukhi, the host, started the event by announcing the six applicants who made it straight to the Top 15: Divya Nikitha, Shreya, Prasanna Kumar, Demon Pavan, Anusha Ratnam, and Swetha Reddy. After then, the attention moved to the 16 contestants who were fighting for the last nine spots.
The applicants who were on hold did a lot of dangerous things with the support of a committee of judges that comprised former Bigg Boss stars Abijeet, Bindu Madhavi, and Navdeep.
The challenges pushed the participants to their limits by making them get tattoos, shave half of their heads, pop balloons, gain a kilogram of weight in 10 minutes, and even ask close friends for money.
When Dammu Sreeja indicated that Shakib, another candidate, didn't know the rules for the money challenge, things grew tense. Judge Navdeep quickly stepped in and said,
"This isn't a fair game because the contestants didn't know how much they were asking their friends for." He said that the challenge was fair to everyone.
At the end of the episode, Mask Man Harish, Dammu Sreeja, Pavan Kalyan, Priya, and Kalki all made it into the Top 15. This meant that there were now 11 people who could win.

There is still a lot to do. The last 11 contestants—Ketamma, Abu Bakkar, Sai Krishna, Nikitha, Urmila Chouhan, Naga, Sri Teja, Manish, Alekhya, Shakib, and Dahlia—will fight hard for the last four positions in the upcoming episode.
The next phase is to pick the final Top 5 once the Top 15 have been chosen. After that, these five people will get into the Bigg Boss house. People are getting more and more enthusiastic that Nagarjuna would be back as the host of Bigg Boss Telugu 9 as the start date gets near.
