Fans are very concerned about Babil Khan's decision to deactivate his Instagram account. Babil Khan is the son of the late actor Irrfan Khan. The action comes after an emotional video he shared on his Instagram Stories went viral.
In it, he was clearly upset and attacked the Bollywood industry, calling it "so f***ed" and "so, so rude."
All of Babil's earlier posts have been removed from Instagram, and attempts to access his profile now result in a "User not found" message.
The since-deleted video, which went viral on Reddit and other social media platforms, features Babil crying as he names a number of Bollywood celebrities, including Arijit Singh, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, and Adarsh Gourav.

“What I mean to say is that, I just want you guys to know that there are people like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Pandey and Arjun Kapoor and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal and Adarsh Gourav and even… Arijit Singh? There are so, so many more names. Bollywood is so f***ed. Bollywood is so, so rude,” he said in the video.
In another part, he added, “Bollywood is the most fakest, fakest, fakest industry that I’ve ever ever been a part of. But there are few people that want Bollywood to be better…I got to show to you so much more, so much more, so much more. I have so much more to give you.”

Fans and netizens have expressed deep concern about Babil’s mental health, especially given his history of emotionally charged posts. In April 2024, he shared a cryptic note stating, “Sometimes I feel like giving up and going to Baba,” referring to his late father, Irrfan Khan, who passed away in 2020 after battling a rare cancer.
Babil has not yet released an official statement about the video or the cause of his abrupt Instagram disappearance. It has also been reported that the original video was removed soon after it was posted.
