Addressing a press conference, Uttar Pradesh CEO, Navdeep Raina said that the voter turnout has been recorded at 57.34 per cent, which is 2.5 per cent more than what it was in 2019. The third phase of polling has successfully concluded for 10 seats in Uttar Pradesh - Agra, Aonla, Budaun, Bareilly, Etah, Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, Hathras, Mainpuri, and Sambhal.

A voter turnout of 61.45% was recorded across 11 states and union territories in phase 3. Assam recorded highest turnout at 75.26% followed by West Bengal at 73.93%. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh saw the lowest turnout at 54.77%, 56.76%, 56.55% and 57.34%. A special polling station has been set up in Burudmal village of Maharashtra’s Baramati constituency after 75 years of independence.

Burudmal has the smallest voter population with just 41 voters.
