The lawmakers of the Telugu Desam Party, Janasena, and BJP of the NDA will meet in Vijayawada today to choose TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu as their representative in the legislature.
According to TDP sources, the National Democratic Alliance leaders planned to meet Governor S Abdul Nazeer after the conference with the intention of proposing Naidu for chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
On June 12, BJP and Janasena leaders may also take the oath of office with Naidu as chief minister.
Naidu is expected to take the CM oath at Kesarapalli IT Park, which is close to Gannavaram Airport, at 11:27 a.m.
According to the TDP's official news bulletin, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a few members of his Cabinet are anticipated to attend the swearing-in event.
A TDP spokesperson had earlier said some of the leaders who could swear-in along with Naidu may get picked up on Tuesday night.
