The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially announced the schedule for the UP Board Class 10th and 12th Compartment Exams 2025. Students who failed in one subject or wish to improve their scores can appear for these exams, which are set to take place on July 19, 2025.
Exam Schedule & Timings
UP Board 10th Compartment Exam: 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM (Morning Shift)
UP Board 12th Compartment Exam: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM (Afternoon Shift)
Students must reach their exam centers 45 minutes before the scheduled time. School principals have been instructed to download and distribute signed admit cards to eligible candidates.
Important Guidelines for Students
- No electronic devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, are allowed inside exam halls.
- CCTV cameras with voice recorders will be active in all exam centers to ensure fair conduct.
- Overcrowding will be strictly managed by center superintendents.
- Only students who failed in one subject (Theory or Practical) can appear for the compartment exam.
- Those looking to improve their marks in one subject are also eligible.
- Candidates must reappear for both Theory and Practical/Internal Assessment if they failed in either part.
The application window was open from May 19 to June 10, 2025, on the official website upmsp.edu.in.
UP Board Results 2025: Performance Highlights
Class 12th (Intermediate) Results
Pass Percentage: 81.15% (21,08,774 out of 25,98,560 students passed).
Girls outperformed boys, with 86.37% pass rate compared to 76.60% for boys.
Mehak Jaiswal (Baccha Ram Yadav Inter College, Allahabad) topped with 97.20%.
Class 10th (High School) Results
Pass Percentage: 86.66% (11,49,984 out of 13,27,024 boys passed).
Yash Pratap Singh (Late Smt. Raskendri Devi Inter College, Jalaun) secured 1st rank with 97.83%.
A total of 55 students ranked among the top 10 in Class 10.
