IIM Lucknow appoints Archana Shukla as Director-in-charge

In February, IIM Lucknow completed its final placements for the Batch of PGP 38 and ABM 19, securing 634 offers for 576 students

The chairperson of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow Board of Governors, N Chandrasekaran, has appointed Professor Archana Shukla as Director-in-charge of IIM Lucknow with effect from April 4, 2024 till a regular Director is appointed.

Shukla is the senior most Professor at IIM Lucknow and her appointment is as per Clause (9) of IIM Act 2017. She is a faculty member specialising in Human Resource Management at IIM Lucknow, and brings over three decades of teaching and research expertise to her role.

An IIT Kanpur graduate with a PhD in Psychology, she was the inaugural chairperson of the Dr Ishwar Dayal Chair for Futuristic Issues in the Behavioral Sciences from 2015 to 2017.

In February, IIM Lucknow completed its final placements for the Batch of PGP 38 and ABM 19, securing 634 offers for 576 students. The highest domestic package (CTC) offered to a student was Rs 66 lakh per annum (LPA) while the highest international salary package (CTC) was Rs 45 lakh. The mean salary of students came to around Rs 30 LPA.

The recruitment drive saw participation from more than 250 domestic and international recruiters.
