Homegrown SUV giant Mahindra & Mahindra today announced that it is increasing the production of the recently launched BE 6 Batman Edition to 999 units, following a handsome response from fans, collectors and the community.
Production of the limited-edition electric SUV was originally set to be capped at 300 units. Priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom, without charger), the Batman Edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three 79kWh variant of the BE 6.
The BE 6 Batman Edition is inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy and incorporates significant design elements referencing Batman's cinematic legacy.
Booking process
Bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition will start on August 23, while the customer deliveries will commence on International Batman Day on September 20.
Here is how you can book the BE 6 Batman Edition.
Step 1 -- You can use this link -- https://www.mahindraelectricsuv.com/esuv/be-6/batman-edition.html -- for pre-booking. Then click on 'add your preference'.
Step 2 -- During the 'add your preference' process, customers will be able to validate their phone numbers via an OTP and complete the KYC process, which will enable a faster checkout once bookings open.
Step 3 -- On August 23, customers can confirm their bookings by paying the booking amount of Rs 21,000. Bookings will be confirmed via an OTP-based validation and KYC process. Customers can move straight to booking if they have already completed 'add your preference' step during pre-booking.
Special badges
After booking confirmation and allocation, each customer will be able to choose their desired ‘badge number’ (from 001 to 999). To ensure each customer gets the 'badge number' of their choice, Mahindra has made the number on the badge non-exclusive.
