Suzlon Energy gains 4% on 50.40 MW order win from Alfanar Group

Suzlon group has won an order of 50.40 MW wind power project from Riyadh based Alfanar Group of Saudi Arabia.

    Share price of Suzlon Energy rose 4 percent intraday Wednesday as it has won wind power project from Saudi Arabia company.

    Suzlon group has won an order of 50.40 MW wind power project from Riyadh based Alfanar Group of Saudi Arabia.

    This is a maiden order from Alfanar, for 24 units of S111-90m wind turbine generator, each with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW.

    The said project will be completed by March 2018.

    The company will execute the entire project on a turnkey basis and will also provide operation and maintenance service.

    At 10:53 hrs Suzlon Energy was quoting at Rs 19.60, up Rs 0.65, or 3.43 percent on the BSE.
