PIS bags Rs 12.5cr project from Mizoram Govt

ICT company Prithvi Information Solutions has bagged Rs 12.5 crore project from the Government of Mizoram to set up the State Data Centre (SDC) which would be connected with the State Wide Area Network (SWAN).

ICT company Prithvi Information Solutions has bagged Rs 12.5 crore project from the Government of Mizoram to set up the State Data Centre (SDC) which would be connected with the State Wide Area Network (SWAN).


"Prithvi will assist government of Mizoram in establishing a reliable and efficient SDC. We expect this state-of-the-art Data Centre to minimise the cost of data deployment, improve delivery of services to citizens, enhance IT and management control", Prithvi Information Solutions Managing Director Satish Vuppalapati said in a statement.


The project comprises design, site preparation, supply, installation, commissioning and operations of the Centre at Aizawl, Mizoram.


Mizoram State Data Centre would help consolidate and strengthen Prithvi''s system integration business, it said.


Prithvi has also bagged similar projects from goverments of Haryana,Nagaland and a data centre project from Maharashtra Generation Company, Mumbai, the statement added.
