Vivo has launched its latest midrange smartphone, the Vivo V50e, in India today. It is an affordable alternative to the Vivo V50, which was launched a couple of months ago. Further, the device comes with an AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 5G processor, 50MP dual cameras, and a 5,600mAh battery, among other features. Here’s a detailed look at the Vivo V50e.
Vivo V50e: Price, availability
The Vivo V50e is priced at Rs 28,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is available for Rs 30,999. The phone is offered in Pearl White and Sapphire Blue colour shades. It will be available for purchase via Amazon, Flipkart, and the Vivo India e-store starting April 17, and the pre-booking starts today.

The Vivo V50e comes with a 6.77-inch Full-HD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800nits of peak brightness. The screen also comes with HDR10+ support and Diamond Shield Glass protection. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip with Mali-G615 GPU and comes with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
Further, the V50e boots Android 15 with FuntouchOS 15 skin on top, and is confirmed to receive three years of major OS upgrades with four years of security updates. In terms of optics, the Vivo V50e is equipped with a dual rear camera unit including a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear sensor with OIS alongside an 8MP ultrawide angle shooter. It is accompanied by an Aura Light feature as well. At the front, it gets a 50MP selfie camera.
The Vivo V50e is backed by a 5,600mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. The phone also has IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
