Apple has just announced the all-new iPhone 17 series that includes the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The entire lineup brings meaningful upgrades like new A19 and A19 Pro chipset, upgraded front and rear camera and improved battery. And, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max finally gets a design change too.

But, that's not the biggest upgrade here. And the feature we are talking about is something users have been trolling Apple for years.

What makes it a big deal?
For years, Apple used to retain the good old 60Hz panel for the based iPhone models – the vanilla and Plus variants. However, the iPhone 17 changes this with the bigger display size and support for ProMotion panel with brings the Pro models’ 120Hz refresh rate support that adapts automatically to the content on the screen and adjust the refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz.
