Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 2025 announced: Date, time and what to expect

Samsung has officially confirmed the date for its next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is set to take place in July 2025. Held annually, the second Unpacked event of the year typically focuses on foldable smartphones and ecosystem upgrades. This year, the company is expected to highlight the next evolution of Galaxy AI and showcase its latest hardware advancements, including the anticipated Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra. With AI becoming a central part of Samsung’s product strategy, this edition of Unpacked signals a shift toward smarter, more intuitive user experiences.

Event date and time
The Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on July 9, 2025, in Brooklyn, New York, a location Samsung describes as a symbol of innovation and creativity. The live stream will begin at 10 a.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. IST and will be available on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom India, and Samsung India’s YouTube channel.

What to expect
At the centre of this year’s event is the Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra, which Samsung has confirmed will be slimmer, lighter, and more durable than previous models. The redesigned hinge and refined internal structure are expected to make the device easier to carry, while still offering a large display when unfolded. The Fold7 Ultra is being positioned as Samsung’s most advanced foldable device yet, aiming to improve portability without sacrificing productivity.

In addition to the new foldable, Samsung may also reveal updated Galaxy Watch models, Galaxy Buds, and other AI-driven enhancements across its device portfolio.
