Samsung has launched the Health Records feature on its Samsung Health app, aligning with the Indian government’s Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). This feature enables users to securely manage their health records digitally, eliminating the need for physical paperwork.

The Health Records feature allows users to create and access their Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) directly through the Samsung Health app. Registered users can view their medical history, including prescriptions, laboratory results, and hospital visits, all linked to their unique ABHA ID. The feature is designed to integrate with healthcare providers across India, simplifying how individuals track and share their health data.

Users can register for an ABHA account within the app using their Aadhaar or mobile number. Once registered, the feature provides access to a secure health locker certified by ABDM, where medical records can be stored and retrieved as needed.

The Health Records feature also facilitates easier access to outpatient services. Users visiting ABDM-compliant hospitals and clinics can scan a QR code through the app to generate a virtual queue token, reducing wait times.
