Samsung has launched the Galaxy M56 5G in India with a 50MP camera, 7.2mm slim design, and a starting price of Rs. 27,999.

Soon after launching its entry and budget phones, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy M56 5G smartphone in India. The handset succeeds the Galaxy M55 5G and it offers significant upgrades over it such as improved camera, slimmer design and better processor. On top of these, it also boasts a 33 percent brighter display and 36 percent slimmer bezels compared to the Galaxy M55.

The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G is priced at Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. A higher storage option with 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage is also expected, although pricing for that variant wasn’t specified in the official announcement. Price and offers at a glance

The handset will go on sale in India starting April 23 at 12pm IST. It will be available for purchase via Amazon and the Samsung India website.

Galaxy M56 5G: Specifications
The Galaxy M56 5G features a 6.73-inch full-HD+ sAMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster support. It runs Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 skin and is powered by an octa-core processor paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Samsung promises six years of major OS and security updates.

On the back, the phone has a triple-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front houses a 12-megapixel camera with HDR video support. AI imaging tools include object eraser, image clipper, and edit suggestions.
