Samsung has just confirmed the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event where it is expected to unveil the next-generation Galaxy devices, new Galaxy AI features and more. Like every year, we expect that Samsung will make the Galaxy S25 series official at the event and Qualcomm might just have confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy devices and Galaxy AI features will be powered by Snapdragon chips via a post on X.

Qualcomm’s post on Galaxy Unpacked announcement
Well, Samsung announced the Galaxy Unpacked event officially and also made the post live on X via its official account. Replying to the post, Snapdragon has said “See you there”. This indicates that Snapdragon chips will power the new Galaxy devices.

While leaks and rumours have already revealed that the Galaxy S25 series will be powered by a Snapdragon chip, this post on X is a clear indication of that. Considering Samsung puts top-of-the-line chips in Galaxy S series phones, the only chip that qualifies that benchmark is the all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite or “For Galaxy” version of it. So, there’s a possibility that the entire lineup will feature the same chip.

Will there be an Exynos version of Galaxy S25?
Samsung has not yet confirmed anything about offering the Galaxy S25 series in two different processor configurations. However, it is possible that the company will introduce the Exynos version of Galaxy S25 in select markets. Also, talking about India, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ came with the Exynos chip and the Ultra came with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. This may happen with the Galaxy S25 series as well. However, we will know more after the announcement on January 22.
