Poco is gearing up to launch the Poco F7 Pro, which is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 6,000mAh battery. The smartphone will likely bring upgrades in performance, display, and battery efficiency, making it a strong contender in the upper midrange segment.
Expected specifications
Poco F7 Pro is rumored to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is expected to offer up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The phone may also feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded in the screen.
Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone may also include Poco’s VisionBoost D7 graphics chip, which enhances gaming performance and HDR content streaming.
The Poco F7 Pro is expected to come with a dual-camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, the device could house a 20MP selfie camera.
A major highlight is its 6,000mAh battery, expected to support 90W fast charging. Poco may also include its Surge G1 battery chip and Surge P3 charging chip for improved battery management.
The smartphone is likely to run Xiaomi HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, with support for Google Gemini AI features. Poco is reportedly offering four years of Android updates and six years of security patches. Other expected features include IP68 water and dust resistance.
