Pickleball is fast growing sport in India with a new league launching in India called World Pickleball League.

More games are joining the growing list of sports leagues in India. The new kid on the block is World Pickleball League, which will launch by the end of 2024 or early next year.

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of table tennis, badminton, and tennis and can be played indoors in singles or doubles on a court.

The sport which has found traction globally is played by celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Selena Gomez, Emma Watson. Former tennis legends such as Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, John McEnroe, Maria Sharapova, Andy Roddick have also been spotted endorsing and playing the game.

Behind India's World Pickleball League is also a former tennis star -- Arjuna Awardee, Gaurav Natekar. His company Natekar Sports and Gaming (NSG) will invest over $10 million over the next 3-5 years in India and APAC to promote the sport.
