After spending more than a year in Early Access, social sandbox MMORPG Pax Dei is all set to launch on October 16 on the PC platform via Steam, Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store, developer and publisher Mainframe Industries announced. The action-adventure role-playing game will come to PC Game Pass on day 1. It will also be available via GeForce Now.
If you are an Early Access player or Founder, you don’t need to purchase Pax Dei again. “Based on the Founder’s Pack you purchased, you’ll also keep your character slots, cosmetic recipes, and will be granted 1, 2, or 4 Plot Tokens and 1, 2, or 4 months of Premium Status depending on your Founder’s Pack,” the developers said in a post on Steam.
In addition to the base game, Pax Dei Early Access players will get a series of perks based on the Founder’s Pack they bought. The perks include Plot Tokens, Premium Status, Character Slots, extra Grace and cosmetic recipes.
Founders also get two days of early access to Pax Dei 1.0 and can start playing from October 14. Also, they will get an extra copy of Pax Dei so as to bring a friend along. The offer is valid till November 16.
Pax Dei 1.0
Pax Dei 1.0 is a live-service game and features a huge open world that thousands of players can join. They can build homes, craft items, harvest and also go exploring the wilds and dungeons for riches.
As per the developers, Pax Dei 1.0 will benefit from the various updates the game received in Early Access. These include Adventure Sites, player-to-player trading, Grace and Miracles, an overhauled RPG system and the Verse 4: Raiders of Lyonesse update. The game will receive more content updates in future.
