As per the company, the Academy will help learners harness AI’s transformative power through workshops, discussions, and digital content—ranging from foundational AI literacy to advanced integration for engineers
The Academy provides a mix of online and in-person learning opportunities, covering foundational AI concepts like text prompting and image generation, alongside specialised topics such as deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. OpenAI has partnered with institutions like Georgia Tech and Miami Dade College to develop content tailored to various skill levels.
Available at academy.openai.com, the platform is designed for ease of use and inclusivity. Signing up is free, though users need to provide an email ID and LinkedIn profile for access. The Academy also hosts events such as “AI for Older Adults: Introduction to AI,” offering hands-on learning and networking opportunities.
Beyond individual learning, OpenAI Academy is part of a broader effort to improve global AI literacy, particularly in underserved communities. “We launched OpenAI Academy to democratize access to AI knowledge.
