OnePlus starts rolling out Plus Mind AI feature to these smartphones: How it works and more

The tool originally launched on the OnePlus 13s, where it’s activated via a dedicated “Plus Key.” On the 13 and 13R, a simple three-finger swipe up gets the job done. Think of it as the reverse of the traditional screenshot gesture.

From there, Plus Mind jumps in to extract useful info: dates go into your calendar, product details are summarised, and everything is saved to your Mind Space — which you can search with natural language via AI Search, now baked into the home screen.

So, swipe up on a concert poster, and Plus Mind will automatically prompt you to add the event to your calendar. Swipe up on a fashion website, and it’ll summarise what you’re seeing and tag it for later. The system even generates descriptions, translates text, and recognises visual context — all AI-powered.

This is part of a broader AI push from OnePlus, which recently laid out a strategy shaped by global user feedback. The company has already begun deploying a suite of AI tools in select regions:

AI VoiceScribe: Records, transcribes, and translates meetings (India-only for now)
AI Translation: Merges text, voice, camera, and screen translation in one app
AI Search: Contextual, natural-language search across local files and content
AI Reframe: Analyses images and suggests alternate compositions
AI Perfect Shot: Creates flawless group photos by fixing blinks and expressions
