Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 7 update, which is based on the Android 15 operating system, to older Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Starting today, the One UI 7 has begun rolling out to some of the devices and will expand to more in future weeks.

The One UI 7 update will be released for:
• Galaxy S series: S24, S24 FE, S23, S23 FE, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S23 Ultra
• Galaxy Z series: Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Z Fold5, Z Flip5
• Galaxy Tab series: Tab S10, Tab S9
One UI 7 new features
Samsung’s One UI 7 update introduces a range of AI-driven features and interface enhancements designed to improve user experience, personalization, and multitasking on Galaxy devices.
Key additions include AI Select, which lets users convert video clips into GIFs with a swipe from the Edge Panel, and Writing Assist, which helps users format and summarise text in apps and messages. Drawing Assist offers AI-powered suggestions to refine sketches, while Audio Eraser removes unwanted background sounds from videos.
Another new feature, the Now Bar, displays live updates such as music playback or fitness activity progress directly on the lock screen. Additionally, Google Gemini integration allows users to perform searches, navigate apps, and control device functions through natural language voice commands.
The update also brings improved settings search and more useful lock screen widgets, contributing to a more intuitive and personalised experience overall.

Make sure the phone has enough battery and storage and you’ve taken the full backup of the device.
Now, head to Settings
Scroll down and look for Software Update
Hit that Check for update button
Tap on Install button to update your phone.
