Nothing has started rolling out its latest software update — Nothing OS 3 — for the Phone (2). The update introduces new features, system enhancements, and the latest Android security patch. While the rollout is gradual, eligible users can manually check for the update through their phone settings. The company has confirmed the rollout via a new post on X.

New features
The highlight of Nothing OS 3 is the introduction of Privacy Space, which can be accessed by swiping right in the app drawer. This space allows users to keep select apps private, with a separate password system from the existing App Locker.

Another addition is the new Nothing Gallery, designed to offer a minimal and fluid media browsing experience in line with Nothing’s design ethos. Additionally, users now have the option to disable the vibration feedback for face unlock on the lock screen through a dedicated toggle in Settings.

Nothing OS 3 also brings several under-the-hood enhancements aimed at improving overall performance and stability. Launcher animations have been optimised to offer smoother app launches. Network stability has been improved, including both cellular and Wi-Fi connections.
Accessibility features have also seen refinements, particularly within the Status Bar and Notification Centre, aiming to improve the experience for users relying on assistive tools.
