Nikon India has introduced the Nikon Z5II, its next-generation full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at content creators, cinematographers, and professionals working in dynamic environments. The new Z5II brings upgrades in video recording, autofocus speed, and low-light performance while keeping creator needs at the forefront.

The Nikon Z5II is built around a 24.5-megapixel full-frame BSI CMOS sensor and powered by the EXPEED 7 image processor. Nikon has focused on improving autofocus performance with a 3.5x faster system and subject detection in low-light environments as dim as -10EV. It also supports 4K video at 60fps, Full HD video at 120fps, and 12-bit N-RAW recording. These features make the Z5II a versatile tool for filmmakers, event videographers, and photographers alike.

Features
With support for both 12-bit N-RAW and 10-bit N-Log, the Z5II offers professional-level flexibility for post-production workflows. Nikon has introduced a dedicated Picture Control button for on-the-fly visual adjustments, alongside a vari-angle LCD and a bright 3000-nit EVF for improved visibility while shooting outdoors or under low light.

The upgraded AF system includes an improved AF-A mode that intelligently switches to continuous autofocus for moving subjects. AI-based subject detection can now recognise people, pets, birds, and vehicles, aiding users in fast-paced scenarios such as sports or weddings.
