Meta launches Edits, a new app to help you make videos on your phone

With Edits, everything you need is in one place. You can record longer videos (up to 10 minutes), edit with frame-level accuracy, add effects like green screen and smooth transitions, and even get suggestions based on how your videos might perform — like whether people are skipping them.

Meta has launched a new app called Edits, and if you love creating videos, this one’s worth checking out. It’s made to help you shoot, edit, and share videos — all from your phone, without the usual hassle.

The best part is that you don’t need to hop between apps anymore or deal with annoying watermarks. You can share directly to Instagram and Facebook from the app, or export and post your video anywhere you like.

Meta says they’ve built Edits by working closely with creators. Over the past year, they’ve tested different features, taken feedback, and shaped the app with real users in mind. A bunch of creators even got early access and helped fine-tune the experience.
