Lava is set to introduce its next gaming smartphone in India soon, named the Lava Play Max. The company has begun teasing this upcoming smartphone, offering its first look at its rear design. Moreover, a leak has revealed price details and major specifications of the Lava Play Max, which is expected to launch in India in the coming weeks. Here’s what we know so far.
Lava Play Max: Expected design, specifications, price
Through a new teaser video on X (formerly Twitter), the upcoming Lava Play Max appears to be equipped with a vertically aligned dual rear camera setup, and will likely come in a black shade. Moreover, the phone appears to have a distinctive pattern surrounding the camera module, with illuminating lights, which could potentially light up or glow in the dark for an added gaming vibe.
Meanwhile, tipster Paras Guglani has also shared some key specifications of the Lava Play Max. The phone is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, the Lava Play Max 5G will also feature a vapour chamber. For optics, the Lava Play Max 5G gets a 50MP AI camera with EIS and an unknown secondary lens.
Additionally, the handset is expected to house a big 6.72-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The tipster has also added that the Lava Play Max will launch in India in December and could be priced under Rs 12,000. As of now, there is no official launch date of the handset, but we can expect it to be revealed in the coming days.
