Screen and design
Apple is expected to go big with a 6.9-inch display. It’s an XDR OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, which simply means brighter colors, deeper blacks, and super-smooth scrolling. The Pro models should keep the Dynamic Island and slimmer bezels for a cleaner look that feels more immersive.
Power and memory bump
Inside, leaks point to the new A19 Pro chip with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage on the base model. That RAM is a 4GB jump for Pro phones, so apps should stay in memory longer and heavy tasks—gaming, editing, multitasking—should feel faster and more fluid day to day.
New camera control
Test units reportedly add a third camera control near the phone’s upper edge. Picture holding the phone sideways: your left index finger rests on a touch-sensitive scroll surface, while your right hand works the main shutter. The idea is quick, precise zoom or mode changes without covering the viewfinder.
Big camera upgrade
On the back, expect three 48MP cameras: main, ultra-wide, and a periscope telephoto for stronger zoom. That replaces the older 12MP setup on previous models. The front camera may jump to 24MP, which should mean cleaner selfies and clearer video calls, especially in low light or indoors.
Battery, charging, and colors
Apple is rumored to add reverse wireless charging so you can top up AirPods or an Apple Watch from the phone’s back. The Pro Max may pack a 5,500mAh battery with 25W MagSafe and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. Expected color options include vibrant orange, white, dark blue, and black.
