We’re still a couple of months away from Apple officially announcing the iPhone 17 lineup, but a new leak has already given us a close-up look at what could be the most talked-about model this year, the iPhone 17 Air.
In a hands-on video shared by tipster Majin Bu, the iPhone 17 Air appears in an elegant matte black finish, and it’s noticeably thinner than any iPhone we’ve seen before. Compared to the chunkier, more premium iPhone 17 Pro Max, which Bu leaked earlier, the Air model stands out for its slim and lightweight profile, clearly made for those who prefer something sleeker in the hand.
The video also reveals a few design changes. Instead of multiple camera lenses, the iPhone 17 Air has a single rear camera, housed inside a new full-width camera bar. It’s a fresh look and, at least in black, it’s got a minimalist appeal that might turn heads.
There’s also chatter about a Sky Blue version, possibly inspired by the M4 MacBook Air, which could bring a splash of color to the lineup when it launches.
While this is still a dummy unit and not the final product, it gives us a fair idea of Apple’s design direction. And if the final version looks anything like this, the iPhone 17 Air might just become the go-to pick for fans who want a stylish, no-frills iPhone.
The official launch is expected in September, but for now, this video has definitely stirred excitement. Would you pick the Air over the Pro Max this year?
