Apple MacBook Pro lineup is set to feature some significant hardware upgrades next year, according to a report. The company could switch from its current generation of mini-LED screen panels to OLED panels for its upcoming MacBook Pro model, which is slated to come out in the latter half of 2026. Moreover, the company is considering a pill-shaped display cutout for these laptops to house the camera and sensors.

Citing industry sources, a report by Digitimes citing market research firm Omdia suggests that Apple's first MacBook with an OLED display will be launched in late 2026. The report also claims that these OLED panels will be supplied to Apple by Samsung Display, which is a division of the South Korean tech conglomerate. Additionally, it could be powered by the upcoming M6 chipset.
