Apple iPhone 17 Pro to launch on September 9 and India price could be Rs 1,25,000 to projections from JPMorgan, the iPhone 17 Pro is likely to start at around Rs 1,25,000 in India, reflecting a $100 global price increase compared to its predecessor. The hike is attributed to Apple shifting the Pro model’s entry-level variant to 256GB storage. Other models, however, are expected to maintain familiar pricing:
iPhone 17: Rs 79,990 (128GB
iPhone 17 Air: Rs 89,990 (128GB) or higher if priced at $949 globally, potentially around Rs 95,000

Availability
The iPhone 17 series is expected to follow Apple’s traditional schedule. Pre-orders may begin on September 12, just days after the announcement, with availability across markets, including India, later in the month. Alongside the hardware launch, Apple is also expected to roll out iOS 26, starting September 15.
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models are anticipated to bring notable hardware upgrades, while the introduction of the iPhone 17 Air marks Apple’s push toward slimmer and lighter designs.
