Apple’s biggest event of the year is set to take place on September 9 in Cupertino. While the iPhone 16 is undoubtedly the star of the show at Apple's annual launch event, there's also considerable anticipation surrounding the unveiling of new Apple Watch models. Here’s what we can expect to see when it comes to Apple Watch
Apple Watch Series 10
The Apple Watch Series is rumoured to get a size upgrad. According to rumours and leaks, Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to come in larger 45mm and 49mm models. Also, the Watch case is rumoured to get slightly slimmer. Currently, the Watch Series 9 comes in 41mm and 45mm case sizes. The Apple Watch Series 10 was earlier expected to be a major upgrade over Series 9 as this is the 10th anniversary of the Apple Watch. However, that might not be the case in terms of health features. The Watch Series 10 is also expected to get a faster, newer processor.
Apple Watch Ultra 3
Apple’s rugged outdoors watch model is also rumoured to get a new model. However, according to noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, there are no major changes expected in the Watch Ultra 3 over Watch Ultra 2. Apple is rumoured to incorporate a new display technology in the Watch Ultra 3 to reduce the power consumption.
Apple Watch SE 3
The affordable Watch SE 3 is also set to get a size upgrade. Currently available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, Watch SE 3 could come in 41mm and 45mm case size. Rumour also has it that Apple could replace the aluminium case with a high-grade plastic. This could further reduce the price of the Apple Watch SE 3.
