Dell Technologies and Alienware have launched two new gaming desktops in India — the Alienware Area-51 and Alienware Aurora. These systems are powered by Intel Core Ultra series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40/50 series GPUs. While the Area-51 is positioned as the brand’s flagship high-performance desktop, the Aurora is aimed at gamers seeking a compact and efficient setup.

Performance and features
The Alienware Area-51 returns as a premium desktop for gamers demanding top-tier performance. It features Intel Core Ultra K-series CPUs and supports up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs. Alienware claims this is their highest-performing desktop yet, thanks to advanced thermals that include redesigned airflow, larger fans, and liquid cooling options. The system can deliver up to 50% more processing power while running up to 45% quieter than previous models.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the Area-51 features a custom motherboard with support for up to 1500W power supplies and PCIe Gen5 GPUs, along with DIY-friendly elements like scannable QR codes for upgrade guides.

The Alienware Aurora, on the other hand, is designed for first-time buyers and competitive gamers alike. It features up to Intel Core Ultra 9 CPUs, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs, and up to 64GB of XMP RAM. Its 240mm CPU liquid cooling, compact design, and optimized thermals make it suitable for small spaces, with Alienware claiming it is 55% smaller in volume than the Area-51.
