When Will the September 2025 Solar Eclipse Occur?

Across wide stretches of the Pacific Ocean, island communities will also witness the partial darkening of skies. Meanwhile, countries including India, Europe, Africa and the Americas will not see this eclipse at all.
When Is the Next Solar Eclipse Visible in India?
For Indian witnesses, the waiting will be until August 2, 2027. That day, the nation will go through a partial solar eclipse late in the afternoon and early evening. The Sun will look partially obscured behind the Moon, providing a rare occurrence of interest to calendars.
