The last solar eclipse of 2025 will happen on September 21. It shall be a partial eclipse, with the Moon blocking up to 85% of the Sun in some areas. The eclipse starts at 10:59 PM IST, is at its peak at 1:11 AM IST on September 22, and ends at 3:23 AM IST.

During this time, the Sun will already be below the horizon in India. As a result, skywatchers here will miss the celestial show. The spectacle will be observable in the Southern Hemisphere, particularly over eastern Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica, and the Pacific islands.
