Did life come from space?
Scientists debate how life began on Earth. Some suggest organic molecules arrived on meteorites. Others believe chemical reactions on early Earth created life.
Meteorites have carried amino acids, essential for biological processes. Space conditions may have formed life’s building blocks before Earth existed. Deep-sea vents and warm ponds could have also nurtured life.
