Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, in an interview on “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer to Peer Conversations”, highlighted the significance of one of the tech giant's unique perks: free meals for all employees.
Pichai said many of his own innovative ideas were born from informal discussions in the company's bustling cafés and hence it is important. "It sparks creativity and builds community," he said.
Pichai believes that introducing benefits and initiatives that are employee-friendly can gravely influence work-place dynamics. “The benefits far outweigh the costs,” he asserted.
Beyond its dining options, Google continues to attract top talent with an array of comprehensive benefits. Rubenstein says on the show that Google employs over 1,82,000 employees.
