Comedian Chris Rock's full-force rebuttal against the Oscars 2022 slap has left Will Smith "embarrassed and hurt", according to an Entertainment Tonight report published after the former's Netflix stand-up special Selective Outrage.

Rock took the stage last week to address the infamous headline-making slap he received from Smith for distasteful jokes about his wife, actor Jada Pinkett-Smith, at the awards ceremony.

He did not hold back as he hit Smith back with his punchlines, a year after the actor dashed to the Oscars stage to smack Rock in the face in front of global audiences.

“People always say words hurt … anybody who says words hurt has never been punched in the face," Rock said, before moving on take potshots at the Smiths, especially for Pinkett-Smith's infidelity.
