A year after popular Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh performed at Coachella, AP Dhillon is all set to set the stage on fire this year. He will be accompanied by his music partner Shinda Kahlon, Coachella organisers announced on social media.
Apart from AP Dhillon, Indian artists including Sid Sriram and NAV are also part of the music and arts festival. Others on the list include artists like Lana Del Ray, Doja Cat, Tyler the Creator and No Doubt. They are said to be headlining the event. The “Dil Nu” singer will be performing on April 14 and 21.
This year, Coachella will be taking place on the second and third weekends of April – April 12-14 and April 19-21. The festival will be held at its homeground, Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.
J Balvin, Ice Spice, Sublime, Lil Uzi Vert, Grimes, Victoria Monet, Peso Pluma, Blur, Deftones, Jon Batiste, Justice and Lil Yachty are also set to perform at Coachella this year.
Last year, Pakistani and “Pasoori” singer Ali Sethi was also on the list. Meanwhile, Dosanjh became the first Punjabi singer to perform at Coachella. Other headliners included Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK and Frank Ocean.
Dosanjh’s performance saw a lot of famous faces in the crowd. Renowned DJ Diplo was present along with influencer Lilly Singh and Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra.
YouTube returns in 2024 as the exclusive livestream partner for both Coachella weekends on the festival’s official YouTube channel, Variety reported.
