India has used 3-4% water from Indus: Gurcharan Das

India has barely used 3-4 percent of Indus water, believes Gurcharan Das, author & Commentator and former CEO, P&G. India is allowed 20 percent usage while Pakistan is allowed 80 percent.

In the backdrop of the Uri attacks, government is brainstorming on how to give a fitting reply to Pakistan. The Indus Water Treaty signed in 1960, which allows water sharing between the two countries has garnered attention . India has barely used 3-4 percent of the water of Indus, believes Gurcharan Das, author & Commentator and former CEO, P&G. India is allowed 20 percent usage while Pakistan is allowed 80 percent as per the treaty.
