Gadhian Anna Hazare continues his fast against corruption on the third day. No consensus seems to be reached between the centre and the state yet. In fact Anna has rejected Sonia Gandhi's appeal to end fast asking the government to pass Lokpal law soon.
Activists, however, are hopeful that the notification would indeed by signed by the government on Friday. Fighting for the cause, activist Swami Agnivesh said, "We have achieved a breakthrough. The Congress-led UPA government has assured a joint committee will be notified to draft the Lokpal Bill which will be taken to the Cabinet.
