Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has denied sending messages to actor Jacqueline Fernandez from jail. The denial comes after India Today reported that Chandrasekhar had sent WhatsApp messages to the actor using a fake number from jail.
In one such message, her purportedly asked Jacqueline Fernandez to wear “black clothes” during a hearing so he would know that she is receiving his messages.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar is currently lodged in Tihar Jail. He maintains that he was in a romantic relationship with Jacqueline Fernandez, who has been named a co-accused by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case against Chandrashekhar.
Chandrashekhar had gifted several expensive items to the actor, which were seized by the ED. These included a horse worth Rs 52 lakh, designer bags from Gucci and Chanel, diamond jewellery, a Rolex watch and more.
He has, however, denied sending WhatsApp messages to the actor from jail, calling them “fake.” Chandrashekhar has also called for a CBI investigation into the allegedly fake chats, asking for strict action against those creating fake messages in his name.
According to the India Today report, the conman messaged Fernandez on June 30, 2023: “Baby this month on 6th, we have a court date and if you are produced by VC please wear a black kurta or wear anything in black, so that I know you have seen all my messages and you Love?? So baby and missing you Ton I love you baby girl, you are mine mine forever...”
In a later message, Chandrashekhar allegedly said he was “upset” that Fernandez did not wear black. Later, he apparently requested: “18th court production on VC please wear any colour, a multi-colored Kurta or just a plain white shirt without any design that I know that you have seen this message... I love you so much.”
