Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has announced the Redmi Pad SE and Redmi Buds 5A in India. The Redmi Pad SE has been available globally for quite some time now and offers great specifications at budget pricing. The Redmi Buds 5A, on the other hand, are the new TWS earbuds from Redmi and also have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support.
Redmi Pad SE and Redmi Buds 5A: Price and offers
The Redmi Pad SE has a starting price of Rs 12,999 for the 4GB/128GB, Rs 13,999 for the 6GB/128GB model and Rs 14,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. The tablet comes in Graphite Gray and Lavender Purple colour options.
Redmi is also offering an instant Rs 1,000 bank discount with ICICI bank cards, which makes its effective starting price at Rs 11,999. The Redmi Pad SE will be available from April 24 via Amazon, Flipkart, and Xiaomi’s offline and online retail stores.
The Redmi Buds 5A have a special introductory price of Rs 1,499 and will be available from April 29 via Mi.com, Xiaomi Homes, and Reliance Stores.
Redmi Pad SE and Redmi Buds 5A: Specifications and features
The Redmi Pad SE has an 11-inch FHD+ display with 400 units of peak brightness, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 84.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. It has a 90Hz peak refresh rate. The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU.
It runs on MIUI 14 skin based on Android 13. We get an 8MP back shooter with f/2.3 aperture. There is also a 5MP front camera for video calls. It also has an 8000mAh battery with 18W charging support. The tablet weighs 480 grams and has quad-speaker support.
The Redmi Buds 5A comes with 25dB ANC and AI ENC for noise-free calling and music listening experience. Further, the earbuds are powered have 12nm dynamic drivers for rich and immersive sound quality.
Redmi claims that you can get up to 30 hours of total playtime with ANC off or up to 23 hours with ANC on with these earbuds. It also can deliver 90 minutes of playback with q0 minutes of charge. The Buds 5A also has an IPX4 rating.
