Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition launched in China could come to India as the Poco F3 GT. The Redmi gaming phone was launched earlier this month in China with a Dimensity 1200 SoC, retractable trigger buttons, and a 120Hz AMOLED display.
Tipster Kacper Skrzypek has tweeted a screenshot of an MIUI code that includes the mention of the Poco F3 GT. The device has the model number M2104K10I, which is very similar to the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. The Chinese variant comes with the model numbers M2104K10AC, M2102K10C and M2104K10C.
We can expect the Poco F3 GT launch in India as a rebadged Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition considering the company’s past record. Poco has not launched the Poco F3 yet in India. It could be possible that the company would instead launch the GT variant.
Poco F3 GT specifications
Considering that the Poco F3 GT specifications will be the same as the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition, it will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It will have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The phone will come with a 120Hz display with a 480Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the hood is a 5,065 mAh battery. It supports 67W wired fast charging. The performance unit also includes up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
On the back, the phone features a triple-camera setup. It has a 64MP primary camera lens and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The phone also packs a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera inside the hole-punch camera cutout.
Xiaomi has packed a dual speaker setup in the Poco F3 GT tuned by JBL. The device runs Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
